Getting married in Wyoming is a wonderful idea any time of the year. You do not have to reside in Wyoming to get a Wedding License and there is no waiting period. Of course our best “wedding season” does revolve a little around the opening and closing of Yellowstone National Park which solely depends on the weather but usually is May thru October. Yellowstone is a honeymoon excursion of a lifetime. And, Cody, Wyoming offers many Wild West Wedding venues locally.
If you are planning a small outdoor ceremony, I suggest looking at dates June thru September. While our spring and fall seasons here can be just absolutely gorgeous, you just can’t plan on it. Spring snows and early winter can happen overnight. However, if you have an adventurous spirit, then let’s book the date whenever you desire. We can always create an alternate indoor venue backup plan.
The Molesworth House c. 1937 located in the historic district downtown Cody, Wyoming, is available for smaller weddings all year around. See Rooms & Rates for more information and photos.
